Facebook was just launching, Data Scientist had yet to be declared “the sexiest job of the 21st century,” and AI was nowhere near as widespread as today. I vividly recall a potential client asking me, “Why do you do this? This is data torture!” 

We talked about knowledge discovery, data mining, and interactive user interfaces, guiding principles that underpinned Ariana’s early technology development. We were both on the leading edge and the bleeding edge, going after a non-existent market with our ultra-innovative technology KEM, what we call today Explainable AI.

Over the last two decades, our business model evolved from being a provider of drug discovery AI software tools and licenses to the design and analysis of clinical trials, and now to our current focus on precision medicine drug development partnerships.
